Susana Gonzales: a popular Mexican actress

Susana Gonzales is a popular Mexican actress who was born in October of 1973. She is the daughter of Refugio and Elvira and has two siblings Jose and Erika. She is best known for her stunning beauty and she was given the chance to study acting in Mexico City after being recognized for winning a beauty contest in her hometown of Calera de Victor Rosales in Zacatecas which is a Mexican state.

While she was moving on to bigger and better things she had to move from her hometown to Mexico City away from her family and friends. This good looking native of Mexico is no femme fetal. She is definitely worthy of her Mexican traditional beauty. She had a love of acting all her life and she received a scholarship to the Televisa’s Acting Academy when she was at the tender age of 18.

She is most known for her role in Entre el Amor y el Odio which is based on a novel called Chain of Hatred. In 2005 she moved to Miami, Florida for a role that lasted almost two years which proved to be a difficult time for her since she was not used to spending so much time apart from her family who had always supported her acting passion.

Susana sports a nickname of Susy. She got her first big acting gig at the age of 23 on a popular soap opera Semtimientos Ajenos in 1996 where she played Norma the best friend to Sofia. Her life is like many other actresses and because of that she is not free from scandal. It was rumored that while working on the soap Velo de Novia she was in a relationship with a co-star. It was denied at first but was later revealed to be true.

While not just appearing in soap operas she is also known for her roles in television broadcasts such as one of her more recent movies Pasion in 2007 which is a story that takes place in Colonial Mexico. She plays Camila Darien who is celebrating her engagement to the village blacksmith. Her new fiancé is stabbed and she is taken away by the by the men who injured her him. In 2009 she stared as Tere, Desconfiada in Mujeres Asesinas, Season 2.

Unlike her normal warm spirit she played Angelina a villain on Amigas y Rivales which is a Mexican shows first broadcast in 2001. It was a short-lived role for her but one that helped to gain her recognition. While not as popular in the United States she is very well loved and admired by her many Spanish counterparts.

While her roles are often challenging and different Susana’s passion for acting allows her to play each role brilliantly. She brings a little something to each and every role. And one of her best loved movies is Gladiator. Her characters are versatile but she brings something new to each and every role and even learns something new about herself along the way.
